Do you need an affordable gift for friends & work colleagues? Then this chocolate slider featuring Stampin' Up!'s retiring Leaves of Holly bundle is the perfect solution.
You simply make an open ended box and slide a chocolate bar into it between some ribbon and tie it into a bow.
Pull the ribbon bow and the chocolate slides out of the box.
These slider boxes can be made to fit any size of chocolate bar and decorated to suit any occasion. I've used the retiring Stampin' Up! Leaves of Holly stamp set & co-ordinating Holly Berry dies to decorate the largest chocolate slider, but you could use any embellishments to suit your purpose.

I wanted to highlight how cute the Stampin' Up! Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder is on these cards.
I used a masking technique to create the coloured centre piece to highlight the embossing on both of these cards. For the card on the left, I used metallic gilding polish from my stash for a bright finish. For the card on the right, I used a Stampin' Up! blending brush to blend three inks for a softer look.
Which do you prefer?
Here's the brighter version with a metallic gilding polish centre.
Here's the ink blended version with three different Stampin' Up! ink colours.
You can also use paint and other colouring mediums with this masking technique.

This style of diagonal fold card is perfect for holding a gift card or money and will be given to some family members at Christmas.
These cards feature the retiring Stampin' Up! Twinkling Lights dies and Festive Foils 12x12 specialty paper and are currently discounted too.
Here's the card partially open before lifting the middle mini card which reveals the gift card or money.
Inside the card which holds either money or a gift card.

If you'd like to learn how to make this card, I have a video tutorial which may be of interest to you.

Some of my friends like non-traditional Christmas colour schemes and so I made this Christmas Centre Split Panel special fold card for them. It features the new Stampin' Up! Framed Florets diesalong with the limited editionFramed & Festive stamp set& Fitting Florets designer series paperwhich is only available while stock lasts or until 4 January.
I used the largest oval die from the Stampin' Up! Framed Florets diesto join the top and bottom sections of the front of the card together.
If you have family & friends who are into technology, then the Stampin' Up! Tech Support stamp set is perfect for them.
I made this card for someone who is brilliant at IT and also builds their own computers. And if you're wondering what all the 0s and 1s mean, it says "For You" in binary code. The birthday sentiment is from the retired Many Messages stamp set & co-ordinating die.
The Tech Support stamp set which is currently on sale along with the cardstock used on this card can be purchased from my online store if you live in Australia.
I used two of the oval dies on this card. One cuts out the hearts in an oval shape and these cutouts were highlighted by placing some Basic White cardstock behind the Pretty Prints layer. I then used one of the other ovals as a frame around the birthday sentiment. The leafy diecuts are also from the die set too.
Here's a close-up of the sentiment showing the etching that the die puts into the frame.
This collection is perfect for birthday and Christmas projects, but some of the products are only available while stock lasts or until 4 January, 2023. However, the Framed Florets bundle will be available in the January-June 2023 Mini Catalogue too.
I then swiped my retired Delicata silver inkpad over the raised embossing which adds to the distressed background effect.
The butterflies are from the Brilliant Wings die set. I've used a combination of silver Foundry Wax and silver embossing powder around the edges of the cardstock and on the butterfly wings.
I've been seeing a few Faux Centre Step cards on the internet lately and thought I'd give it a try.
For a Centre Step card, I've always used the traditional method to create this style of card where you need to do partial cutting/make slits within the card base, so thought the faux version may be easier to do. If you'd like to see instructions to create the traditional Centre Step Card, you can find my tutorial here.
Here's the Faux Centre Step card that I made for my Dad for Father's Day this Sunday.
The positive for using the faux method over the traditional method is that you don't need to have a special paper trimmer or be skilled with a craft knife when creating this card. The negative to this method is that it uses a lot more cardstock and designer series paper, so it isn't as economical to make.

It's all happening in September at Stampin' Up!

Perfect Partners: Six stamp sets have had co-ordinating die sets released to match. These die sets and special bundle prices are available during September, 2022 only or while stock lasts. You can see the six stamp sets and dies here.
A couple of weeks ago I made a card using the Stampin' Up! Brightest Beauty stamp set. I thought I'd use the same design, but make it in my recipient's favourite colour and also use the Silver & Gold 6x6 Designer Series Paper I received for free during Sale-A-Bration.
I wanted to use the Silver & Gold foil paper, but needed to keep to the purple colour theme - so I got out my inks and Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes and changed the white to purple - but still let the gold foil dots shine.

I simply rotated the Basic White card stock mat to punch the corners which gives it a less formal look as the corners are not all the same. I then used the Labels Aglow dies to diecut the circular holes in the mat for added interest.
The silver foil photo corners used on the card were diecut using the Fabulous Frames dies. Sadly the designer series paper and number dies are retired.
If you've not used this punch before, you can view my tips video here.

A couple of weeks ago I made some note cards using the Stampin' Up! Brightest Beauty stamp set. I thought I'd take it up a notch and turn it into a full sized card this time by using the Brightest Beauty bundle with its stamp set and co-ordinating dies.
Here's a comparison between the note cards made a couple of weeks ago and today's card.

When you have a large number of cards to make, the Stampin' Up! Stamparatus is such a helpful tool. I used it to make a large number of these cards.
I set up the two Stamparatus plates with the new Stampin' Up! Brightest Beauty stampsthat I wanted to use(which also have co-ordinating dies) - one plate for the Old Olive ink and the other for the Crushed Curry ink.
Using the Stamparatus sped up the stamping process immensely. Don't you just love this new wattle stamp from the Brightest Beauty stamp set? It has me looking forward to Spring.

I made this gatefold shutter card for my Mum's recent birthday. As soon as I saw the new Stampin' Up! Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper, I knew this would be perfect for my project.
Here's the front of the card.
The shutter card is based on the concept of a camera's shutter mechanism. Here's the card partially opened and you can see that the centre focal section is currently white as the shutters are closed.
Here's the fully opened inside of the card. As the card is opened further, the shutters open and the 'best wishes' sentiment from the Artistically Ink stamp set is revealed.
Video tutorial I made a unplanned, last minute decision to video creating this card. It's unedited but has all the dimensions and products I used, along with some tips for creating this style of card which you may find useful. You can see the video here:
