Angela's PaperArts: City Sights 18th birthday easel card

The new Stampin' Up! City Sights card kit is terrific for quick & easy cards.

I also stepped up one of the kit card fronts by creating this 18th birthday easel card.  The 'Celebrate' sentiment is from the Wanted to Say die set.

The kit included a mini stamp set & inkspot which will certainly come in handy on other projects too.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin' Up! Hip Hip Hooray rosette card

I've made another card this week using the  versatile Stampin' Up! Round We Go stamp & die bundle. I made this Z fold card with the bundle and the Take To the Sky designer series paper.

Here's a side view of the card.

To assemble the rosette diecuts from the Round We Go set, simply:

1. Diecut 2 rosette strips
2. Add adhesive onto the rosette diecut tabs
3. Concertina the strips along the scorelines & adhere together to form a circle.
4. Gather the top of the circle together and press down to form the rosette. Adhere a cardstock circle onto the centre of the front & back of the rosette to keep it in place.

This bundle, along with other stamp & die bundles and machines, will be discounted from this Wednesday, 5 June, with an 10% off the price.

 Today I'm farewelling the Stampin' Up! Level Complete stamp set.

When you have a family member who loves motorcycles, using the Stampin' Up! Legendary Ride stamp set to create a card was the obvious choice.

The sentiment is from the Legendary Ride Stamp set. The patterned papers are from the retired Legendary Ride designer series paper pack and the gear diecuts from the also retired Garage Gears die set. Mixing and matching current and retired items like this is easy when the products go together so well.

Angela's PaperArts: Ready to Ride Diamond Easel fold card

This diamond easel fold card featuring the Stampin' Up! Ready to Ride suite zoomed its way to a very special person for his birthday.

This is a fun style of card to make and the Legendary Ride dies within the suit layered beautifully together to form the motorcycle.  I also loved the checker plate texture from the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder.

Inside the card has space to write a note to the card's recipient.  

The card also folds flat for posting.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin Up Tech Support birthday card

If you have family & friends who are into technology, then the Stampin' Up! Tech Support stamp set is perfect for them.

I made this card for someone who is brilliant at IT and also builds their own computers. And if you're wondering what all the 0s and 1s mean, it says "For You" in binary code.  The birthday sentiment is from the retired Many Messages stamp set & co-ordinating die.

Angela's PaperArts: Very Best Trio punch 21st birthday card

This 21st birthday card features the new Stampin' Up! Very Best Trio punch.  I used it to create the centre Basic White card stock mat upon which the "21st" rosette was placed.

I simply rotated the Basic White card stock mat to punch the corners which gives it a less formal look as the corners are not all the same.  I then used the Labels Aglow dies to diecut the circular holes in the mat for added interest.  

The silver foil photo corners used on the card were diecut using the Fabulous Frames dies.  Sadly the designer series paper and number dies are retired.

Angela's PaperArts: Biggest Wish slimline birthday card

I made this slimline birthday card featuring the Stampin' Up! Slim Card dies and Biggest Wish stamp set for a family member's birthday.

I used the inlaid diecut technique to create this card.  

• I first diecut the arrow Slim Card die in Basic White cardstock and adhered it to the slimline card base. 
• I then used the contrasting blue cardstock colours of Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue to diecut the same shape.
• I inlaid alternating colours by adhering them into the white diecut. 
• I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set onto another piece of Basic White cardstock and used the retiring Tailored Tag punch to flag the ends of sentiment.  

You can effectively make four cards out of the technique and mix and match the card base as you have four complete diecuts.

Soar Confidently birthday card

I made this birthday card for a special man in my life and it features the Stampin' Up! Soar Confidently stamp set. 

I paired it with the recently retired World of Good Designer Series Paper and Well Suited twin combo pack.

I kept the decoration inside simple as I wanted plenty of space to write my message, but managed to use most of the aviation stamps from the Soar Confidently set on this card, which the recipient loved.

World of Good centre split panel card

I do enjoy making masculine cards and Stampin' Up! make it easy to create this style of card with their gorgeous products. This masculine centre split panel card features the Stampin' Up! World of Good suite. 

This card can easily be adapted to other occasions but simply changing how it's embellished.
