Following on from last week's Birthday Sip Sip Hooray shaker card, I've also made a Christmas shaker card too.
This card features the Brightly Gleaming suite along with the Stitched Stars dies.
I used some retired sequins along with Ice Stampin' Glitter to fill the shaker part of the ornament. To create the 3D smaller ornament, I punched out 3 of the gleaming ornaments, folded them in half and glued them back to back to create the dimension - you can see an example of this type of technique on page 49 of the Holiday Catalogue (3D apple). It's such an easy technique and so effective. A copper foil stars banner from the Stitched Stars die set completes the card.
Here's a close-up of the shaker & 3D ornaments.
If you like these projects you may want to consider attending a papercrafting class. I run classes each month - please contact me for further details if you live in Melbourne, Australia. Private classes for you and your friends can be arranged for local crafters.

Each month I create Thank You cards for customers who have placed an order. I very much appreciate my customers' business as I know people have a choice as to where they shop. These are some of my customer Thank You cards posted earlier this week to those who placed a recent order.
Here's a close up of the card:
The Accented Blooms stamp set along with the Tailored Tag & Detailed Trio punches were perfect for this challenge. The main colours used were Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick along with Basic Black & Whisper White

Christmas Countdown - perfect school holiday project
Are you looking for a project to occupy the kids during the school holidays?
The Stampin' Up! Christmas Countdown project kit advent calendar comes ready to be decorated. I found the frame and boxes to be very sturdy and the kit includes all the papers and embellishments you need to decorate the calendar. Feel free to mix and match the patterns. Once decorated, fill the boxes with treats of your choice in readiness for 1st December.
I used the kit only to create the advent calendar pictures here, but you can use the co-ordinating Christmas Countdown stamp set to jazzy it up further. It's a perfect project for the kids to do and can be purchased here. I loved the touches of gold foil which add extra shine to the project.
You do need to use your own glue/adhesive for this project. I'd recommend the Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue as it's easy to use by kids or adults.
Here's a close-up of the calendar.

Peacock feathers card
As a follow-on from last week's card, I've again used theStampin' Up! Royal Peacock stamp set along with its co-ordinating Detailed Peacock dies to create this card.
I really wanted to feature the beautiful peacock feathers in this bundle. I sponged some co-ordinating ink onto Whisper White cardstock before diecutting the feathers. I also applied some Wink of Stella for extra shine before adhering them onto the card. Below you can see how I've roughly sponged the ink onto the card stock before diecutting the feathers.
The sentiment and feathers were adhered over a layer of Noble Peacock Speciality Designer Series Paper.

Graduation card
A very special person in my life graduated with his Bachelor of Business Degree yesterday.
The sentiment from the Stampin' Up! Royal Peacock stamp set was just perfect for the occasion which I embossed with silver embossing powder. I created the trencher (cap) by doing some punch art. I used the Tailored Tag punch along with a Circle punch with the pieces layered together.

Daisy Lane card
I used the new Daisy Lane stamp set together with the medium and large Daisy punches to create this card.
The two sizes of daisies teamed so well when layered together. I diecut the sentiment label from the Stitched Nested Labels dies set. I stamped the fern from the Daisy Lane stamp set onto the label, then added the Daisy along with the leaf from the Daisy Lane stamp set which had been punched out using the Leaf Punch.

Tropical chic recessed border card
Well I don't know about you, but it's a cold winter's day in my home town of Melbourne and my thoughts are drifting to tropical summer holidays. So why not post a card I made awhile ago using the cheery Tropical Chic stamp set and co-ordinating Tropical dies.
This card features a recessed border where I stamped the images onto the card base and layered split panels over the top so you can see the images peeking through. I then added a cluster of flowers & leaves up the top left to complete the card.
All products used can be purchased from my my online store if you live in Australia. If you like this project you may want to consider attending a papercrafting class. I run classes each month - please contact me for further details if you live in Melbourne, Australia. Private classes for you and your friends can be arranged for local crafters.
If you enjoy papercrafting and Stampin' Up! products you may want to consider joining my team to receive a discount on your supplies or to start a business that fits in with your lifestyle. From 1 July-31 August 2019, you can choose your own Stampin' Up! Starter Kit products valued up to $280 for only $169. Plus you'll receive a $16 voucher to spend the following month too. I'm here to support you if you do like the idea of joining Stampin' Up! Whitewashed Magnolia
I took the design from my Golden Magnolia card from a few weeks ago and flipped it 90 degrees to make a landscape version.
Just like the Golden Magnolia version, I heat embossed the magnolia image from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set with gold embossing powder. I used the white craft ink to 'whitewash' the image this time and added a touch of Rococo Rose ink in the centre. You can see this technique in the annual catalogue on page 121.
Here's a close up of the card.
Tip: For successful heat embossing you should prepare your card stock first by rubbing the embossing buddy over the card stock. This helps prevent stray bits of embossing powder from sticking to your project.

I used the decorative die from the Perfect Parcels die set to add some extra dimension to the card along with the sentiment label from the same set.

Oval heirloom frame card
As a follow-up to the Stampin' Up! Woven Threads card from a couple of weeks ago, I made the same card but used the Oval frame from the Heirloom Frames dies & 3D embossing folders set instead.
Here's a close up of the gorgeous details on the embossed frame.
So which do you prefer, the Oval or Rectangle frame?
Tip: I found the standard Stampin' Up! stamp case was perfect for storing the Heirloom Frame dies and co-ordinating embossing folders rather than having them in separate cellophane bags. Here's everything I was able to get into the stamp case from this set. I've also added a shim (around 4-6 sheets of cardstock) that I need for my BigShot as the new 3D embossing folders are a little thinner than the previous Dynamic embossing folders.
Here's the case closed - I tucked the original packaging picture into the front of the stamp case to show what was inside.
Don't forget that if you purchase the Woven Heirlooms bundle from me during July using host code 3EQHW7YX, I'll send you a free standard stamp case to store your Heirloom Frame dies/3D embossing folders set as a bonus thank you gift.
All products used have been listed below - just click on the picture and it will take you to my online store where you can purchase the item. If you're thinking of placing an order soon, please be aware that between 1-31 July 2019, for every $90 you spend on Stampin' Up! products (excluding postage) you will receive a $9 voucher to redeem during August. There's no limit as to the number of $9 vouchers you can collect during this time. It's a great time during the Bonus Days promotion to stock up on your favourite Stampin' Up! supplies which you'll find here at my online store.
