Christmas gleaming twist & fold card

I often give gift cards or money to the older nieces and nephews as a birthday or Christmas treat.  This year I decided to make a twist and fold card for them as it holds the money safely inside the card.

I couldn't resist the red foiling on the Stampin' Up! Wonder of the Season Memories & More card & envelopes pack - it's gorgeous. 

I teamed it with the Christmas Gleaming stamp set, co-ordinating Gleaming Ornaments punches and Playful Alphabet dies to create this card. The ornaments were heat embossed with Silver emboss powder to add some extra sparkle too. Most of the items used are included in the Year-end Closeout sale on now.

Brightly gleaming shaker card

Following on from last week's Birthday Sip Sip Hooray shaker card, I've also made a Christmas shaker card too.

This card features the Brightly Gleaming suite along with the Stitched Stars dies.

I used some retired sequins along with Ice Stampin' Glitter to fill the shaker part of the ornament. To create the 3D smaller ornament, I punched out 3 of the gleaming ornaments, folded them in half and glued them back to back to create the dimension - you can see an example of this type of technique on page 49 of the Holiday Catalogue (3D apple).  It's such an easy technique and so effective. A copper foil stars banner from the Stitched Stars die set completes the card.

Triangle corner pop-up card

This triangle corner pop-up card features the Stampin' Up! Brightly Gleaming suite and we'll be making this card at my October class.

I used Very Vanilla cardstock for the base of this card and layered it with the gorgeous Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper which features lots of copper foil elements.  The ornaments were stamped using the Christmas Gleaning stamp set and punched out with the Gleaming Ornaments double punch pack.
