Dove of hope slimline card

I've been enjoying making slimline Christmas cards like this one featuring the Stampin' Up! Dove of Hope stamp set and co-ordinating Dove dies.

This style of card also fits into our Australian DL sized envelopes, so we don't need to pay extra postage.

To be even more economical, I used the Wreath Builder dies to diecut copper wreaths out of the Copper Foil mat layer which has the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper layered over the top.  You can see how it looks from the reverse side before it's adhered to the card base and you'd never know that the underlying Copper Foil mat wasn't whole.

Arrange a Wreath Christmas Peekaboo card

Happy Christmas in July!  This Christmas Peekaboo special fold card is one of the three cards we’ll be making in this month’s online class. It features the Stampin’ Up! Arrange a Wreath stamp set & co-ordinating dies, Dainty Diamonds embossing folder & Brightly Gleaming paper (returning to my online store on 4 August. 2020). 

I think the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder has become one of my favourite embossing folders from Stampin' Up! Here's a close-up of the card so you can see the pretty embossing.

Brightly gleaming shaker card

Following on from last week's Birthday Sip Sip Hooray shaker card, I've also made a Christmas shaker card too.

This card features the Brightly Gleaming suite along with the Stitched Stars dies.

I used some retired sequins along with Ice Stampin' Glitter to fill the shaker part of the ornament. To create the 3D smaller ornament, I punched out 3 of the gleaming ornaments, folded them in half and glued them back to back to create the dimension - you can see an example of this type of technique on page 49 of the Holiday Catalogue (3D apple).  It's such an easy technique and so effective. A copper foil stars banner from the Stitched Stars die set completes the card.

Triangle corner pop-up card

This triangle corner pop-up card features the Stampin' Up! Brightly Gleaming suite and we'll be making this card at my October class.

I used Very Vanilla cardstock for the base of this card and layered it with the gorgeous Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper which features lots of copper foil elements.  The ornaments were stamped using the Christmas Gleaning stamp set and punched out with the Gleaming Ornaments double punch pack.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there and especially to two wonderful men in my life, my Dad and my husband.

I made this card for my Dad and it features a little sneak peek of the gorgeous and versatile Stampin' Up! Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper - available from this Wednesday, 4 September with the release of the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue.  It also features the Stampin' Up! Garage Gears dies set and Geared Up Garage stamp set.
