All Geared Up celebration card

With Father's Day just around the corner here in Australia, I thought I'd share this masculine card with you.

It features the Stampin' Up! World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper and Garage Gears dies.  All products used to create the card are listed below.

I 'distressed' the card to grunge it up a bit by deliberately tearing, fraying and sponging it with ink.  The addition of lots of gears as an embellishment adds to the 'grungy' feel of the card.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there and especially to two wonderful men in my life, my Dad and my husband.

I made this card for my Dad and it features a little sneak peek of the gorgeous and versatile Stampin' Up! Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper - available from this Wednesday, 4 September with the release of the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue.  It also features the Stampin' Up! Garage Gears dies set and Geared Up Garage stamp set.

Geared up garage card

Here's a card for all car enthusiasts featuring the Stampin' Up! Geared Up Garage stamp set and co-ordinating Garage Gears dies.

As a tip for making this type of card, I rubbed some black StazOn ink over the silver foil diecut gears to give them a grunge/distressed look.  I also used one of the stamps to distress the Classic Garage designer series paper.  This Classic Garage set is only available as a stamp and dies bundle with 10% RRP until 3 June, although you will be able to buy the products separately from 4 June - but why not get it now and save!
