Angela's PaperArts: Stitched Stars birthday wallet card

A couple of months ago I made a few wallet cards for birthdays and I needed one for another birthday recent.  This time I used the card design by friend Heidi Bell (thanks Heidi!) where the front of the card base is simply scored and folded inside to the hold the money.

I embellished the card to suit the recipient by using the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper, a sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set and also added stars from the Stitched Stars die set.  You could easily use this style of card for any occasion, including a Christmas card wallet.

Here's the inside of the card.

Curvy Celebrations featuring a Curvy Christmas card

I couldn't resist the special release of Stampin' Up!'s Curvy Celebrations variety bundle, which includes the Curvy Christmas stamp set, Curvy Dies and Classic Christmas papers used to create this card.

While the Quite Curvy stamp set is also available in this variety bundle and also co-ordinates with the Curvy Dies, it will be available in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue, whereas the Curvy Christmas stamp set and Classic Christmas papers are only available while stock lasts.

Here's what's in the variety bundle: two stamp sets, co-ordinating dies and the designer series paper stack.

And here's some of the stamping and diecutting I've already done to get ready to make more Curvy Christmas cards.  I've also added some diecut stars from the Stitched Stars die set.

Brightly gleaming shaker card

Following on from last week's Birthday Sip Sip Hooray shaker card, I've also made a Christmas shaker card too.

This card features the Brightly Gleaming suite along with the Stitched Stars dies.

I used some retired sequins along with Ice Stampin' Glitter to fill the shaker part of the ornament. To create the 3D smaller ornament, I punched out 3 of the gleaming ornaments, folded them in half and glued them back to back to create the dimension - you can see an example of this type of technique on page 49 of the Holiday Catalogue (3D apple).  It's such an easy technique and so effective. A copper foil stars banner from the Stitched Stars die set completes the card.

Here's a close-up of the shaker & 3D ornaments.
