Balloon birthday card

Who's a fan of the movie Up?  When making this birthday card using the Stampin' Up! Balloon Bouquet punch, the movie Up came to mind and inspired some of the design.

This card also shows how to add some interest to punched shapes too by doing more than just punching card stock:

1. Punch Designer Series Paper
2. Dry emboss the punched shape, or
3. Use a background or texture stamp to add some colour to the punched shape.

These are just three things you can do to step up a plain punched shape.

The card also features the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder and Playful Alphabet die set.

Arrange a Wreath Christmas Peekaboo card

Happy Christmas in July!  This Christmas Peekaboo special fold card is one of the three cards we’ll be making in this month’s online class. It features the Stampin’ Up! Arrange a Wreath stamp set & co-ordinating dies, Dainty Diamonds embossing folder & Brightly Gleaming paper (returning to my online store on 4 August. 2020). 

I think the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder has become one of my favourite embossing folders from Stampin' Up! Here's a close-up of the card so you can see the pretty embossing.
