Final 2019 Christmas cards

These were the last of my Christmas cards made for 2019, some of which can be easily adapted to become cards for other occasions too  - simply change the paper, sentiments and embellishments used.

This is a simple card to make, but using the Stampin' Up! Delicate Lace dies to create the right hand side border adds a little extra interest.

Colour Your Season: Merry Christmas card

This is the fourth card in my Stampin' Up! Colour Your Season card series and features the Christmas stamps in the set.

Stampin Up Blended Seasons xmas card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

Real Red card base and layered a piece of Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper on top.  A Real Red banner was then added along with some mini sequin trim.  The focal image which had been stamped and coloured using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers was then adhered over the banner to complete the card.

If you like this card, all products used are listed below and available from my online shop.  You are going to love this very versatile bundle, but you will need to be quick as it's only available until 31 August 2018 or while stock lasts.

Colour Your Season: Golden Christmas card

I'm going to be writing a series of posts over the coming weeks featuring the limited edition Blended Seasons bundle which is only available 1-31 August 2018 or while stock lasts.  This bundle consists of the Blended Seasons stamp set and co-ordinating Stitched Seasons dies. It's very versatile and can be used for so many occasions.

Here's the first card I made in this series. It features the holly image from the stamp set.
Stampin' Up! Colour Your Seasons christmas card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To create this card I started with a Stampin' Up! Whisper White card base.  Using the Stamparatus I used the Blended Seasons's holly stamp to create a gold embossed border along the edge of the card. The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set was also gold embossed onto Whisper White card stock. I then layered some Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper onto the card base and added a thin white trim from the Delightfully Detailed Lasercut DSP onto the edge too.  I then diecut a Medallion and Star, then layered the sentiment over the middle of them and adhered it to the card base.

If you like this card, all products used are listed below and available from my online shop.  You are going to love this very versatile bundle, but you will need to be quick as it's only available until 31 August 2018 or while stock lasts.  If you join me team during July, you'll be able to pre-order this bundle early rather than waiting until 1 August.

I also conduct papercrafting classes each month - please contact me for further details if you live in Melbourne, Australia.  Private classes for you and your friends can be arranged for local crafters.

Beautiful Bethlehem card

I enjoy layering ink onto cards to give different effects.  This card featuring the Night of Bethlehem stamp set and co-ordinating Bethlehem Edgelits Dies started as a white piece of paper before I got my inks and sponges out to create this night scene.

Stampin' Up! Night of Bethlehem card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To create this night time effect, the stars were stamped and heat embossed prior to sponging on Island Indigo and Night of Navy ink.   The town was diecut using Silver Foil paper and layered onto the card.  The sentiment is from the Star of Light stamp set.
