Angela's PaperArts: Noel Floating Gap Christmas card

My cardmaking for Christmas this year is well on its way.

This 'Noel' Floating Gap card features some gorgeous Stampin' Up! products including the Joy of Noel bundle, Christmas Classics dies and the Joyful Speciality Designer Series Paper.

Here's a side view of the card which also folds flat for posting in a 15x15cm/6x6" envelope.

Here's how I decorated the back of the card. The rectangle panel has plenty of room to write a message to the card recipients.

Angela's PaperArts: Faux Framed Florets birthday card

Here's another Faux Centre Step card featuring some favourite retiring Stampin' Up! products, the Framed Florets stamp set and co-ordinating Framed Florets dies (which are currently 60% off RRP).

Whilst the Faux Centre Step card is easy to make, please be aware that it does use up more paper than the traditional Centre Step card.  This style of card is simply a varied height accordion fold card base with a tent fold card topper adhered over the base. It can be made in any size to suit your project.

Angela's PaperArts: Paradise Palms Centre Step card

Unlike last week's card, this card is the traditional way of creating a Centre Step card.  It also farewells some favourite retiring Stampin' Up! products being the Paradise Palms stamp set and co-ordinating Palms dies - both of which are currently discounted as part of the Last Chance sale.

Here's a side view of the card where you can see that the card base and feature panels are all created from the one piece of cardstock.  This is a much more economical card to make compared to last week's Faux Centre Step card.

Angela's PaperArts: Seashells Faux Centre Step birthday card

Today's card was made for a special person in my life. This card also farewells some of my favourite retiring Stampin' Up! products such as the Seaside Shells die and co-ordinating embossing folder, Celebrating You stamp set, By the Bay designer series paper and Sahara Sand cardstock.

Whilst the Faux Centre Step card is easy to make, please be aware that it does use up more paper than the traditional Centre Step card.  This style of card is simply a varied height accordion fold card base with a tent fold card topper adhered over the base. Angela's PaperArts: Legendary ride birthday card

This card features the Stampin' Up! Ready to Ride suite.  

I stamped and diecut the motorcycle first from the Legendary Ride bundle. I then adhered it onto the card mat and Ready to Ride designer series paper. This was then adhered onto the card base which had been embossed using the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder for extra texture. 

To finish the card, I used studs from the Adhesive Backed Studs on the centre of the wheels.

TIP: To create the multi-coloured flame, I first inked up the image in Pumpkin Pie ink and then used a dauber to sponge Merry Merlot ink around the edge before stamping the image.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin' Up! Dainty Flowers chocolate slider gift box video tutorial & birthday card

I used the Stampin' Up! free Sale-a-Bration Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper to create this chocolate slider gift box and co-ordinating birthday card. You can find my video tutorial for this project at the end of this post.

The paper is so pretty, it doesn't need much embellishment.  The slider gift box was also decorated using the Framed Florets stamp set & co-ordinating dies bundle.

Angela's PaperArts: Dainty Flowers birthday card

I made this birthday card with the Stampin' Up! Desert Details dies and free Sale-a-Bration Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper.

Here's a side view of the card.

I cut out a section of the Dainty Flowers paper, layered it onto a co-ordinating cardstock mat and adhered it onto the card base with dimensionals to give it some height.

Alternatively, you can use a modern take on the 'rip & flip' technique where you flip over one of the diecut pieces to show the reverse paper pattern.

Some of my friends like non-traditional Christmas colour schemes and so I made this Christmas Centre Split Panel special fold card for them.  It features the new Stampin' Up! Framed Florets dies along with the limited edition Framed & Festive stamp set & Fitting Florets designer series paper which is only available while stock lasts or until 4 January. 

I used the largest oval die from the Stampin' Up! Framed Florets dies to join the top and bottom sections of the front of the card together.

Angela's PaperArts: Framed Florets Wintry Christmas Shaker Card

Stampin' Up! have today released a gorgeous new collection - the Fitting Florets collection.

This collection is perfect for birthday and Christmas projects, but some of the products are only available while stock lasts or until 4 January, 2023.  However, the Framed Florets bundle will be available in the January-June 2023 Mini Catalogue too.

I've used one of the Framed Florets oval dies and a sentiment from the Framed & Festive stamp set to create this Christmas shaker card.  It also features one of the Wintry 3D embossing folders. I had some metallic polish in my stash which I swiped over the raised pine branches to highlight them.

Angela's PaperArts: Father's Day Vintage Tools Faux Centre Step card

I've been seeing a few Faux Centre Step cards on the internet lately and thought I'd give it a try.  

For a Centre Step card, I've always used the traditional method to create this style of card where you need to do partial cutting/make slits within the card base, so thought the faux version may be easier to do.  If you'd like to see instructions to create the traditional Centre Step Card, you can find my tutorial here.

Here's the Faux Centre Step card that I made for my Dad for Father's Day this Sunday.

It features the Textured Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper, Distressed Gold 12x12" paper, Stylish Shapes dies for the banners & sentiment strips along with the Vintage Tools stamp set.

Here's the back of the card where I kept with the Vintage Tools theme and embossed the Evening Evergreen cardstock with the Timber 3D embossing folder for added texture.

The positive for using the faux method over the traditional method is that you don't need to have a special paper trimmer or be skilled with a craft knife when creating this card.  The negative to this method is that it uses a lot more cardstock and designer series paper, so it isn't as economical to make.

Angela's PaperArts: Very Best Trio punch 21st birthday card

This 21st birthday card features the new Stampin' Up! Very Best Trio punch.  I used it to create the centre Basic White card stock mat upon which the "21st" rosette was placed.

I simply rotated the Basic White card stock mat to punch the corners which gives it a less formal look as the corners are not all the same.  I then used the Labels Aglow dies to diecut the circular holes in the mat for added interest.  

The silver foil photo corners used on the card were diecut using the Fabulous Frames dies.  Sadly the designer series paper and number dies are retired.
