Angela's PaperArts: New In Colors & Stampin' Up! 2025-26 Annual Catalogue

The new Stampin' Up! 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue launched today. If you don't have a copy of the catalogue, here's a link to the online version.

With its launch comes five new 2025-2027 In Colors being:

• Strawberry Slush (a returning favourite)
• Timid Tiger
• Darling Duckling
• Cloud Cover & 
• Secret Sea.

I've created five cards using the new Stampin' Up! 2025-2027 In Colors which also features the Beautiful Motifs stamp set & dies bundle.

The Beautiful Motifs bundle's die set has two dies which completely cut out an embellishment and three other dies which partially cut an embellishment & leaves it embedded in the paper.  I've used each of these dies on my cards to show you their potential for both cardmaking and scrapbooking

Here's a close-up of the Strawberry Slush card:

TIP: Use the triangular motif die instead of traditional photo corners on your scrapbooking layouts.

Here's a close-up of the Timid Tiger card. I also used the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder for extra texture on the background.

Here's a closeup of the Darling Duckling card. I used the Unbounded Love dies for the sentiment mat.

TIP: The flourish die can be snipped apart so that you can use part of the flourish anywhere on a project. An example can be seen on the top left of this card.

Please note: The Cloud Cover large inkpad will not be available as the chemicals in that ink reacted with Stampin' Up!'s firm foam inkpad. The good news is that there are two options to still get this colour in an inkpad, it will be a 2.5cm/1" inkpad instead of the large size. The options are:

1. Purchase the Cloud Cover ink refill bottle and Uninked Stampin' Spots. You can then ink up one of the spots with the Cloud Cover ink as the ink spot pads are made of a different material and aren't affected by this ink's formula, or
2. Purchase the Classic Stampin' Spot Small Assortment 1 which has five different coloured ink spots, one of which is Cloud Cover, all inked-up and ready to use.

And lastly, here's the closeup of the Secret Sea card. Given the name of this colour, I paired it with the Soft Waves 3D embossing folder for a textured background.

Angela's PaperArts: Whimsical Woodland Masked Christmas Card

I wanted to highlight how cute the Stampin' Up! Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder is on these cards.

I used a masking technique to create the coloured centre piece to highlight the embossing on both of these cards.  For the card on the left, I used metallic gilding polish from my stash for a bright finish.  For the card on the right, I used a Stampin' Up! blending brush to blend three inks for a softer look. 

Which do you prefer? 

Here's the brighter version with a metallic gilding polish centre.

Here's the ink blended version with three different Stampin' Up! ink colours.

You can also use paint and other colouring mediums with this masking technique.

Angela's PaperArts: Framed Florets Wintry Christmas Shaker Card

Stampin' Up! have today released a gorgeous new collection - the Fitting Florets collection.

This collection is perfect for birthday and Christmas projects, but some of the products are only available while stock lasts or until 4 January, 2023.  However, the Framed Florets bundle will be available in the January-June 2023 Mini Catalogue too.

I've used one of the Framed Florets oval dies and a sentiment from the Framed & Festive stamp set to create this Christmas shaker card.  It also features one of the Wintry 3D embossing folders. I had some metallic polish in my stash which I swiped over the raised pine branches to highlight them.

The new 2022-23 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue launched this week. 

These 'Thank You' cards feature two of the gorgeous new 2022-24 In Colors - Parakeet Party on the left and Sweet Sorbert on the right. The thank you sentiment is from the Good Feelings stamp set.

The cards also feature the new Fern 3D embossing folder which is quickly becoming a favourite along with the new In Color metallic ribbon.  You can find all the products used on these cards in my online store.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin Up Friends are like seashells father's day card

I made this card for my Dad for Father's Day earlier his month featuring the Stampin' Up! Friends Area Like Seashells bundle and Seashells 3D embossing folder.  

I love the versatility of this bundle as it can be used for a variety of occasions - just swap out the Happy Father's Day sentiment from the Best Year stamp set that I used on this card for any other occasion. I used a sponge dauber to sponge ink over some of the raised embossed sections of the seashells to highlight them.

Angela's PaperArts: Hats Off birthday card

I made this slimline card featuring the Stampin' Up! Hats Off bundle for my nephew's birthday.

The Stampin' Up! Stamparatus came in handy to stamp the three Happy Birthday sentiments from the Biggest Wishes stamp set in different shades of blue.  I just setup the stamp on the Stamparatus once and moved it one step up the hinge to stamp the next colour.  I diecut the baseball cap from the Hats Off bundle and embossed it using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder for extra texture.

I also folded over the card base inside the card to create a 'wallet' to hold the birthday money.

Ornate Garden Twisted Easel card

Today I'm saying goodbye to the beautiful Ornate Garden Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, Ornate Border dies and Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder, all of which are retiring on or before 3 May, 2021 and which were used on this card.

I taught this card in one of my online classes last year, and it's still one of my favourite versions of the Twisted Easel special fold card because of the colour scheme and gorgeous papers.

Here's the card when it's closed which highlights the beautiful Tin Tile embossing.

One of my favourite Stampin' Up! embossing folders, the Country Floral 3D embossing folder is sadly retiring and now only available until 2 June, 2020 or while stock lasts.

Tip: To add some extra interest on this card, I used Stampin' Blends to colour highlights on the embossed sections of this card.
