Angela's PaperArts: Favored Flowers pop out card

When I first saw this paper, I'll be honest and say that I thought the large floral patterns were a little too busy for my projects.  However, the smaller patterns on the reverse side of the papers were perfect for my projects. I do love having two sides to paper so I can pick & choose a pattern to suit my style of project.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin' Up! Dainty Flowers chocolate slider gift box video tutorial & birthday card

I used the Stampin' Up! free Sale-a-Bration Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper to create this chocolate slider gift box and co-ordinating birthday card. You can find my video tutorial for this project at the end of this post.

The paper is so pretty, it doesn't need much embellishment.  The slider gift box was also decorated using the Framed Florets stamp set & co-ordinating dies bundle.

Angela's PaperArts: Dainty Flowers birthday card

I made this birthday card with the Stampin' Up! Desert Details dies and free Sale-a-Bration Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper.

Here's a side view of the card.

I cut out a section of the Dainty Flowers paper, layered it onto a co-ordinating cardstock mat and adhered it onto the card base with dimensionals to give it some height.

Alternatively, you can use a modern take on the 'rip & flip' technique where you flip over one of the diecut pieces to show the reverse paper pattern.

Which do you prefer? The same pattern version or the rip & flip version?

Angela's PaperArts: Brightest Beauty Sale-A-Bration card

A couple of weeks ago I made a card using the Stampin' Up! Brightest Beauty stamp set.  I thought I'd use the same design, but make it in my recipient's favourite colour and also use the Silver & Gold 6x6 Designer Series Paper I received for free during Sale-A-Bration.  

I wanted to use the Silver & Gold foil paper, but needed to keep to the purple colour theme - so I got out my inks and Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes and changed the white to purple - but still let the gold foil dots shine.

I also used the the Fabulous Frames dies to frame the stamped 'wattle' image.

How to do two step stamping with the Brightest Beauty stamp set using the Stamparatus, along with some other Stamparatus tips are demonstrated in this video.

Here are just a couple of my August customer 'Thank you' cards going out to those who placed an order with me last month.  

I used the stunning Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Be Dazzling specialty paper which is currently free with an eligible order and the Artistic dies on these cards.

The black mat was embossed with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder for added textured.

Angela's PaperArts: Angels of Peace Christmas card

The Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper isn't just for penguin cards.  I teamed this pretty paper with the Angels of Peace stamp set to create this Christmas card.

I did some very simple watercolouring on the stamped angel and then diecut the image using the Ornate Layers dies.

These are some of the thank you cards I made to thanks customers who placed an order with me during January.

The card front already had the watercolour wash put onto them by Stampin' Up!.  I just had to add the Corner Bouquet and Heal Your Heart stamp set images to complete the cards.

Power of hope card

Diagonal butterfly cards

I used the beautiful Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper to create both of these cards.

There are 12 double sided sheets of paper in the pack which is free and only available until 31 March (or while stock lasts) with an eligible $90 order.  Instead of cutting the paper in a standard rectangle, I thought I'd add some interest and cut it on an angle.  I used the Celebrate You and Wonderful Floral framelit dies to create a focal border on each card.  The butterflies are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and co-ordinating Butterfly Duet punch which are available individually or as a bundle with 10% off the RRP.
