Angela's PaperArts: Expressions in Ink Thank You cards

I have been enjoying using the Stampin' Up! Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper. These are just some of my recent 'thank you' cards made with this paper that I've recently sent to those who placed orders.

I love the touches of gold in the paper and I also used the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack for the gold leaves.  The centre focal piece was created using the Ornate Layers dies and Ornate Thanks stamp set.

Angela's PaperArts: Angels of Peace Christmas card

The Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper isn't just for penguin cards.  I teamed this pretty paper with the Angels of Peace stamp set to create this Christmas card.

I did some very simple watercolouring on the stamped angel and then diecut the image using the Ornate Layers dies.   

So don't just think about using the Sale-a-Bration Penguin Playmates 12x12" Designer Series Paper penguin cards, it can be used with many different styles of stamp sets.  Plus it's free too with an eligible $90 order.

Ornate style bleached birthday card

I used a very old but effective technique to create this card featuring the Stampin' Up! Ornate Style stamp set and co-ordinating Ornate Layer dies - the bleaching technique.

To create this style of card, I heat embossed the Ornate Style floral stamp.  I then used an Aqua Painter to paint sections of the cardstock with bleach.  This removes the colour from the cardstock as can be seen in the three large 'cream' coloured flowers.

Something old & something new - Ornate border gatefold card

This gatefold card features the retiring Stampin' Up! Special Celebrations stamp set and Petal Pink metallic edge ribbon along with the new Ornate Border & Ornate Layers dies.  Whilst I've made a birthday card this time, this style of card can be used for many different occasions including as a wedding card.

Here's a closed view of the card which has a sentiment belly band around the card to keep it closed.

Here's the open view of the card with the sentiment belly band removed.  I've allowed plenty of room to write a message to the card recipient:

Tip: I used the Stampin' Up! Stamparatus to evenly stamp the scroll image into each corner of the inside of the card.  Using the Stamparatus provided perfect placement of the image each time.
