I took the design from my
Golden Magnolia card from a few weeks ago and flipped it 90 degrees to make a landscape version.
Just like the Golden Magnolia version, I heat embossed the magnolia image from the
Good Morning Magnolia stamp set with
gold embossing powder. I used the
white craft ink to 'whitewash' the image this time and added a touch of
Rococo Rose ink in the centre. You can see this technique in the annual catalogue on page 121.
I used the decorative die from the
Perfect Parcels die set to add some extra dimension to the card along with the sentiment label from the same set.

Tip: For successful heat embossing you should prepare your card stock first by rubbing the
embossing buddy over the card stock. This helps prevent stray bits of embossing powder from sticking to your project.
