Simple stamping challenge

Stampin’ Up! issued a #simplestamping challenge for October 2019 to use only stamps, ink, paper & punches on a Thank You card. Challenge accepted!

Each month I create Thank You cards for customers who have placed an order.  I very much appreciate my customers' business as I know people have a choice as to where they shop. These are some of my customer Thank You cards posted earlier this week to those who placed a recent order.

Here's a close up of the card:

The Accented Blooms stamp set along with the Tailored Tag & Detailed Trio punches were perfect for this challenge. The main colours used were Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick along with Basic Black & Whisper White

Accented Blooms card: 2018-20 In-Color Pineapple Punch

This is the first of a series of five posts featuring the new Stampin' Up! 2018-20 In Colors.  I love how bright and cheery the Pineapple Punch colour is and featured it on this card along with the Accented Blooms stamp set.

To create this card I started with a Pineapple Punch card base layered with some Pineapple Punch Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the Accented Blooms stamp set onto some Whisper White card stock and coloured it using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  The 'hello' sentiment was stamped in Pineapple Punch and punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. A little piece of 1/8" Whisper White sheer ribbon was coloured with the Pineapple Punch Blends marker and tucked under the sentiment. The stamped piece was layered onto some Basic Black card stock and then adhered to the card base.  I added some rhinestones to the complete the card which again had been coloured using the Pineapple Punch Blends marker.
