Wonderful romance with versatile vellum

One of my favourite Stampin' Up! suites is the Wonderful Romance suite - such a pretty colour scheme featuring delicate but versatile vellum.

I coloured the floral focal image with Stampin' Blends, one of my favourite colourings mediums as they blend so easily. If you'd like to learn how to successfully use vellum, my second March class has a couple of spaces available and features vellum techniques - please message me for details if you live in Melbourne, Australia. Private classes for you and your friends can be arranged for local crafters.

Starting my Christmas cards

I was demonstrating cardmaking today at my local shopping centre and thought I'd make a start on my Christmas cards.

This card was inspired by a recent Stampin' Up! publication and features the lovely Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set and co-ordinating thinlits bundle, along with the Cherry Cobbler and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends all available from my online store. Have you started making your Christmas cards as yet?

The Stampin' Blends make colouring images so easy. I run introductory classes on how to use the Stampin' Blends which are an alcohol marker, so if you'd like to learn more, please let me know.

Accented Blooms card: 2018-20 In-Color Pineapple Punch

This is the first of a series of five posts featuring the new Stampin' Up! 2018-20 In Colors.  I love how bright and cheery the Pineapple Punch colour is and featured it on this card along with the Accented Blooms stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Accented Blooms card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To create this card I started with a Pineapple Punch card base layered with some Pineapple Punch Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the Accented Blooms stamp set onto some Whisper White card stock and coloured it using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  The 'hello' sentiment was stamped in Pineapple Punch and punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. A little piece of 1/8" Whisper White sheer ribbon was coloured with the Pineapple Punch Blends marker and tucked under the sentiment. The stamped piece was layered onto some Basic Black card stock and then adhered to the card base.  I added some rhinestones to the complete the card which again had been coloured using the Pineapple Punch Blends marker.

If you like this card, all products used are listed below and available from my online shop.  I also conduct papercrafting classes each month - please contact me for further details if you live in Melbourne, Australia.  Private classes for you and your friends can be arranged for local crafters.
