Angela's PaperArts: Brightest Beauty Thinking of You card & video tutorial

A couple of weeks ago I made some note cards using the Stampin' Up! Brightest Beauty stamp set.  I thought I'd take it up a notch and turn it into a full sized card this time by using the Brightest Beauty bundle with its stamp set and co-ordinating dies.

I used the Stitched Greenery die to add texture onto the card base and also used the Fabulous Frames dies to frame the stamped 'wattle' image.

How to do two step for the Brightest Beauty stamp set using the Stamparatus, along with some other Stamparatus tips are demonstrated in this video.

Here's a comparison between the note cards made a couple of weeks ago and today's card.

Angela's PaperArts: New Horizon's thank you card

I'm saying farewell to some retiring products over the next couple of weeks.

Today's card is a Thank You card featuring the sadly retiring New Horizons Designer Series Paper.  You can make a quick & easy card by simply adding a sentiment to the wide variety of patterns in this paper pack.

I've also used the Stitched Greenery die on the card base for extra texture.  The 'thanks' sentiment is from the Amazing Thanks die set.

Angela's PaperArts: Iconic dies grunge birthday card

Last week I shared a 'clean & simple' version of a birthday card featuring the versatile Stampin' Up! Iconic dies.  This week I'm sharing a more distressed/grungy version of the card which has the same cluster of embellishments, but a very different background.

The Stampin' Up! Iconic dies are lovely to work with and can be used for many occasions.  I also used a timber embossing folder similar to the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and did ink blending using the Blending Brushes to give a distressed/grungy feel to the card base.

The sentiment is from the Forever Fern stamp set

So which version do you prefer?  The Clean or Grunge version?

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin Up Iconic birthday card

I always need birthday cards and this one features the versatile Stampin' Up! Iconic dies.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin Up Iconic dies and Stitched Greenery die birthday card

The Stampin' Up! Iconic dies are so cute and this card was quick to make.  I also used the Stitched Greenery die to create the stitched leafy background on the card base.

The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set and it was punched out using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked mask card with Stitched Greenery

Last week I shared a card where I had used a diecut as a mask from the Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked stamp set & co-ordinating dies bundle.  I felt the colouring on the mask was too pretty to waste and created a second card with the 'positive' mask image.

I added the inked mask to an Evening Evergreen coloured card front upon which I had used the Stitched Greenery die to add a leafy stitched background.

Here are both cards side by side.  Which do you prefer, the white negative image card or green positive mask card?

Tip:  So if you don't have the right plastic mask, use one of your dies instead to create what you need. The products used are currently available and can be purchased from my online store if you live in Australia.
