Angela's PaperArts: Easter egg boxes

I'd like to wish you a very Happy Easter this weekend.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin Up Storybook Friends easter egg box

I'm getting ready for Easter Sunday by making some boxes featuring the Stampin' Up! Unbounded Beauty patterned paper, the Storybook Moments collection, including the Storybook Friends bundle.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin Up Storybook Friends easter egg box

One of the frame dies in the Storybook Friends bundle was used to embellish the box, along with one of the diecut elements from the Storybook Moments pack to complete the box which was, of course, filled with lots of little Easter eggs.

The box template was inspired by a tutorial by Sam Donald. The current Stampin' Up! products used on this project can be purchased from my online store if you live in Australia.

Snowflake Splendour Christmas treat wrap

Are you looking for Christmas treat packaging ideas?

Angela's PaperArts, SU Snowflake Splendour Christmas treat wrap

This is a pretty & easy way to wrap a gift and used all Stampin Up products. I’ve wrapped hand sanitisers in this example but it could easily have been a chocolate bar or other treat.

Angela's PaperArts, Stampin Up Snowflake Splendour Christmas treat wrap

I used a 5cm wide strip of Stampin Up Pool Party card stock and decorated it with Snowflake Splendour paper. I added some ribbon around the middle to hold the sanitiser in place and used the (now retired) Share Sunshine sentiment punched out using oval punches.

Online cardmaking/papercrafting classes for Australian residents are available - please contact me for details.

All Dressed Up gift bag

Do you have some family & friends who need a little 'cheer up' during this challenging COVID-19 time?  Why not create them a little gift bag and fill it with some of their favourite treats.

Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts: All Dressed Up extended gift bag by Stampin' Up!

I used the Stampin' Up! All Dressed Up dies to create this cute gift bag. The dies also co-ordinate beautifully with the Dressed to Impress stamp set

To add extra texture, I used the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder to emboss the front of the bag.

Why not get the dies and stamp set today and receive a Bonus Days $9 coupon to redeem on other products from 4-31 August.

If you'd like to learn cardmaking, please message me at angelaspaperarts@outlook.com - various online classes are available to Australian residents to complete at their leisure.  I'll return to in person classes sometime in the future once the COVID-19 pandemic allows us to safely gather and craft with shared supplies again.

Baby booties gift card holder

The Stampin' Up! Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies aren't just for making Christmas Stockings - why not make baby booties and slip a gift card inside for expectant friends.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Stocking by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To make the baby bootie, I used the Stampin' Up! Trim Your Stockings Thinlits Dies to create the Blushing Bride card stock stocking and the pillowbox which goes on the back of the stocking.  I then diecut and adhered the contrasting trims using the Bundle of Love Designer Series Paper.  The sentiment is from the Moon Baby stamp set and was diecut using one of the smaller Sweet & Sassy hearts framelits. A piece of Gold Natural Trim was added to the top of the bootie.

Workshops and papercrafting classes are available - please contact me for details.  If you enjoy papercrafting and the Stampin' Up! products you may want to consider joining my team.  Click on the Join My Team link at the top of this page for more information or feel free to contact me to discuss the joining benefits if you live in Australia.

Delightful Daisy Window Box sneak peek

I recently attended the Stampin' Up! demonstrator only 'OnStage' event and got to see and trial some of the new products being released on 1 June 2017 in the new annual catalogue.  One of the product suites I fell in love with was the Delightful Daisy suite.  It is aptly named as it is delightful and I really enjoyed using it on today's project.

Here's an extended Window Box I made which features some of the Delightful Daisy products.

I made the extended Window Box by using the dies from the Stampin' Up! Window Box Thinlits dies set and did the old partial die cutting technique to double the height of the standard Window Box.  I then diecut some patterns in three sides of the box using dies from the same Window Box Thinlits set.  To decorate the box I added some of the sneak peek Stampin' Up! Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper on the other 3 sides of the box.  The top of the box was decorated using leaves from the Flourish Thinlits die set.  To create the daisy I used the Daisy Delight stamp set and stamped in Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White paper.  I then punched out three daisies using the new Daisy punch.  The centre was also stamped and punched out using the 1/2" Circle Punch and a bit of Wink of Stella was added to give it some sparkle.

The Window Box Thinlits set has a co-ordinating Window Shopping stamp set and is available as a bundle at 10% off RRP only until 31 May 2017.  These products will be available as individual items after that time but why not get the bundle now and save.  The Daisy product suite will be available from 1 June 2017.  If you live in Australia, don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like a catalogue, please let me know.  All products used on this project (except for the new Daisy products) have been listed below - just click on the product picture and it will take you to my online store where the product can be purchased.

Christmas Curvy Keepsake treats

I made some Stampin' Up! Curvy keepsake boxes last Christmas for friends which were a hit, so I thought I'd make some for some work colleagues this year.

Pictured above are some that I made - the santa suit (same as last year), christmas pudding (inspired from Pinterest) and a sleigh ride/snow themed one too of my own design.  All were filled with chocolates prior to adding the tags onto each handle.

The boxes are easy to assemble and it's up to you how you want to decorate them.

For the christmas pudding design, I made the Curvy keepsake box using Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock which I had embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder. The red berry for the holly was cut from the Real Red Pompom Trim.  I used the Word Window punch to cut out the sentiment from the retired Good Greetings stamp set and attached it onto the box using the Real Red striped ribbon.

The snowy sleigh ride box was made using Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstock.  I die cut the sleigh image and also trees (on the back of the box) from the Sleigh Ride edgelits.  The snowflake was punched from the Snow Flurry punch and attached using Silver Cording trim and White glitter ribbon.  I used the Fine Tip glue pen to randomly put dots of glue over the box and sprinkled it with Silver glitter to represent falling snow.

The key products used on these boxes have been listed below with their original RRP price - just click on the picture and it will take you to my online store where the product can be purchased and if it's included in the Year End Sale, you'll see a reduced price.  Papercrafting classes are available.
