Snowflake Splendour Christmas treat wrap

Are you looking for Christmas treat packaging ideas?

This is a pretty & easy way to wrap a gift and used all Stampin Up products. I’ve wrapped hand sanitisers in this example but it could easily have been a chocolate bar or other treat.

I used a 5cm wide strip of Stampin Up Pool Party card stock and decorated it with Snowflake Splendour paper. I added some ribbon around the middle to hold the sanitiser in place and used the (now retired) Share Sunshine sentiment punched out using oval punches.

All Dressed Up gift bag

Do you have some family & friends who need a little 'cheer up' during this challenging COVID-19 time? Why not create them a little gift bag and fill it with some of their favourite treats.

I used the Stampin' Up! All Dressed Up dies to create this cute gift bag. The dies also co-ordinate beautifully with the Dressed to Impress stamp set.

To add extra texture, I used the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder to emboss the front of the bag.

Gift bag & baby notecards

This gift bag was made for a busy Mum and contains three baby cards and envelopes ready for when friends have their babies.

The bag is based on a design by Caroline from CraftyHallet and the tutorial for making the bag can be found on her website here: http://www.craftyhallett.co.uk/bag-in-a-box-handbag/

As I was filling the bag with Stampin' Up! Note Cards, I made the bag a bit higher than Caroline's measurements. You can easily adjust the height of the bag to suit any project.

Wonderful Washi with a Cherry on Top

I often receive questions about how to use washi tape. Stampin' Up! have brought out some very versatile washi tapes in the current catalogue and I thought I'd put together some projects featuring the Cherry on Top washi tape range.

All the items in the picture above were made using washi tape as a key feature on each project.

Washi tape can be used instead of designer series/patterned paper - just run a strip(s) of tape straight or at angles across some cardstock.
Layer strips of washi tape on cardstock and use your dies and BigShot to cut out shapes. I've done this for the balloon, bow on the gift bag and flag/banner ends on both the gift bag and 'happy birthday' card.
Washi tape can be used on more than just paper - I've covered the metal lid of the bottle holding the product sign with washi tape too.

Angled or straight - washi tape adds interest to your projects.

Die cut layered washi tape for decorative embellishments like the balloons on these cards.

Run straight strips of washi tape at the top and bottom of a card to add a splash of colour.
