Delightful Daisy Window Box sneak peek

I recently attended the Stampin' Up! demonstrator only 'OnStage' event and got to see and trial some of the new products being released on 1 June 2017 in the new annual catalogue.  One of the product suites I fell in love with was the Delightful Daisy suite.  It is aptly named as it is delightful and I really enjoyed using it on today's project.

Here's an extended Window Box I made which features some of the Delightful Daisy products.

I made the extended Window Box by using the dies from the Stampin' Up! Window Box Thinlits dies set and did the old partial die cutting technique to double the height of the standard Window Box.  I then diecut some patterns in three sides of the box using dies from the same Window Box Thinlits set.  To decorate the box I added some of the sneak peek Stampin' Up! Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper on the other 3 sides of the box.  The top of the box was decorated using leaves from the Flourish Thinlits die set.  To create the daisy I used the Daisy Delight stamp set and stamped in Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White paper.  I then punched out three daisies using the new Daisy punch.  The centre was also stamped and punched out using the 1/2" Circle Punch and a bit of Wink of Stella was added to give it some sparkle.

Window shopping birthday card

I'm always in need of birthday cards for family and friends and thought I'd make use of the gorgeous metallic Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration ribbon to make this card.

I started this card with a Stampin' Up! Basic Black card base and layered some Watermelon Wonder card stock on top.  On a piece of Whisper White, I used one of the large dies from the Window Box Thinlits set to diecut the floral 'window' centrepiece.  I then layered some Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper under the 'see through' floral window. The Happy Birthday sentiment from the Window Shopping stamp set was stamped in Watermelon Wonder ink at the bottom of the card.  A piece of the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration White & Silver Metallic Ribbon was layered down the side of the card before adding it to the card base.  This ribbon can be yours too for free with any $90 qualifying order until 31 March 2017 (or while stock lasts).  Two butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set were punched out using the Bitty Butterfly punch, a rhinestone added and layered over the floral window.

The products used on this card have been listed below - just click on the picture and it will take you to my online store where the product can be purchased. Workshops and papercrafting classes are also available - please contact me for details.  Don't forget that from now until 31 March, spend $90 on Stampin' Up! products and you get to choose a free Sale-a-Bration item (while stock lasts).

Dragonfly window box

I like to make gift boxes and fill them with treats to give to friends.   I made this box using the Stampin' Up! Windows Box Thinlits dies and decorated it using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits dies.

I created the box in Stampin' Up! Watermelon Wonder card stock and also used some of the optional dies from the Window Box Thinlits set to decorate the top and three sides of the box.  For some tips on creating the box, here's a video from Stampin' Up! on how to create this box.

I then decorated the box using the co-ordinating Window Shopping stamp set to create the 'Open Me' tag. The Window Box Thinlits dies and Window Shopping stamp set can be purchased individually or as a bundle to save 10% off RRP. The dragonflies are from the Detailed Dragonflies Thinlits set and were diecut in Silver Glimmer paper for some sparkle.  This box didn't take long to make and was filled with chocolates and given to a friend.
