Delightfully Detailed Friendship Card: 2018-20 In-Color Lovely Lipstick

One of my favourite products in the new Annual Catalogue is the Delightfully Detailed Lasercut Specialty Paper.  It is so pretty and delicate and I used a little piece of it on this card, along with the third 2018-20 In-Color in this series of posts, Lovely Lipstick.

Stampin' Up! Delightfully Detailed card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To create this card I started with a Lovely Lipstick card base layered with some Lovely Lipstick card stock which had been embossed using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I then added some of the Delightfully Detailed Lasercut Specialty Paper on top.  The sentiment is from the Detailed with Love stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and diecut out using the Stitched Label framelit dies. A butterfly from the Painted Glass stamp set completes the card.

Painted Glass sympathy card: 2018-20 In-Color Blueberry Bushel

I find one of the hardest cards to make is a sympathy card.  However, the new Graceful Glass suite made it a bit easier and this card also features the second new 2018-20 In-Color in this series of posts,  Blueberry Bushel.

Stampin' Up! Painted Glass card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To create this card I started with a Blueberry Bushel card base layered with some Blueberry Bushel Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I adhered the Graceful Glass vellum strip which had been coloured using the Stampin' Write markers onto some Whisper White card stock, along with the decorative border from the Delightully Detailed Lasercut DSP.  The With Deepest Sympathy sentiment was stamped in Blueberry Bushel and diecut out using the Layering Ovals framelits. A little piece of 1/8" Blueberry Bushel grosgrain ribbon was tied into a bow and added at the bottom of the vellum.

Accented Blooms card: 2018-20 In-Color Pineapple Punch

This is the first of a series of five posts featuring the new Stampin' Up! 2018-20 In Colors.  I love how bright and cheery the Pineapple Punch colour is and featured it on this card along with the Accented Blooms stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Accented Blooms card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To create this card I started with a Pineapple Punch card base layered with some Pineapple Punch Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the Accented Blooms stamp set onto some Whisper White card stock and coloured it using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  The 'hello' sentiment was stamped in Pineapple Punch and punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. A little piece of 1/8" Whisper White sheer ribbon was coloured with the Pineapple Punch Blends marker and tucked under the sentiment. The stamped piece was layered onto some Basic Black card stock and then adhered to the card base.  I added some rhinestones to the complete the card which again had been coloured using the Pineapple Punch Blends marker.

If you like this card, all products used are listed below and available from my online shop.  I also conduct papercrafting classes each month - please contact me for further details if you live in Melbourne, Australia.  Private classes for you and your friends can be arranged for local crafters.

Serene Garden card

One of the pretty bundles in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue is the Serene Garden bundle. I made this card using the bundle.

It's hard to see in the photo above, but the cardstock is embossed using one of the new embossing dies in the Garden Scene framelits set included in the bundle.

Here's a close-up of the embossing.  You do need the new Big Shot Embossing Mats set to achieve this look.  For this version, I've only embossed the Soft Sea Foam card stock and diecut some of the leaves out (all included in the framelits set) which shows the contrasting embossed Tranquil Tide cardstock underneath.
