That's the Tag card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

I started with a Sahara Sand card base which had Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, Blushing Bride card stock and Very Vanilla lace layered on top.  To create the focal piece, I used another piece of Falling in Love Designer Series Paper which had been diecut using one of the square Stitched Shapes framelits to give it a decorative edge.  I then diecut the flower using one of the Timeless Tags Thinlits dies and adhered it onto the square. The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped using the That's the Tag stamp set.  The trail of butterflies was also diecut using one of the Timeless Tags Thinlits and adhered to the card.

The That's the Tag stamp set and co-ordinating Timeless Tags Thinlits dies are available as a bundle at 10% off RRP or discounted individually too only until 31 May 2017 or while stock lasts. All products used on this card have been listed below - just click on the picture and it will take you to my online shop where they can be viewed and purchased.

Delightful Daisy Window Box sneak peek

I recently attended the Stampin' Up! demonstrator only 'OnStage' event and got to see and trial some of the new products being released on 1 June 2017 in the new annual catalogue.  One of the product suites I fell in love with was the Delightful Daisy suite.  It is aptly named as it is delightful and I really enjoyed using it on today's project.

Here's an extended Window Box I made which features some of the Delightful Daisy products.

I made the extended Window Box by using the dies from the Stampin' Up! Window Box Thinlits dies set and did the old partial die cutting technique to double the height of the standard Window Box.  I then diecut some patterns in three sides of the box using dies from the same Window Box Thinlits set.  To decorate the box I added some of the sneak peek Stampin' Up! Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper on the other 3 sides of the box.  The top of the box was decorated using leaves from the Flourish Thinlits die set.  To create the daisy I used the Daisy Delight stamp set and stamped in Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White paper.  I then punched out three daisies using the new Daisy punch.  The centre was also stamped and punched out using the 1/2" Circle Punch and a bit of Wink of Stella was added to give it some sparkle.

Birthday blast card

This birthday card was fun to make and features the Stampin' Up! Birthday Blast stamp set and co-ordinating Star Blast edgelits dies.

Birthday Blast card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

I started with a Stampin' Up! Night of Navy card base and layered a piece of Whisper White card stock on top.  I stamped the Birthday Blast star focal image into the top left corner. I then diecut the co-ordinating Star Burst in Tempting Turquoise and layered it over the stamped image.  A piece of striped Night of Navy Designer Series Paper Stack paper was cut at an angle and layered on to the card.  The diecut stars from the Star Burst were added as a feature onto the striped paper and sentiment.  The Celebrate you sentiment is also from the same Birthday Blast stamp set and a few Night of Navy and Metallic enamel shapes completed the card.

The Birthday Blast stamp set and co-ordinating Star Burst edgelits are sadly retiring and only available until 31 May 2017 while stock lasts from my online store.  All products used on this card have been listed below - just click on the product picture and it will take you to my online store where the product can be purchased.

High tide birthday card

Birthday cards for male friends and family never go astray and I found it easy to create this scenery card using the Stampin' Up! Hide Tide stamp set.

I started this card with a piece of Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and used the High Tide stamp set to create the scene.  The lighthouse is a two step stamp and I used the one colour, Dapper Denim, to stamp the lighthouse base and shadow.  I did need to mask (cover up) the lighthouse when stamping the surrounding water so it didn't ruin the lighthouse image.

I added some Dapper Denim striped designer series paper to the left side of the scene.  I then layered over the striped paper some of the 1.6cm/5/8" Burlap Ribbon and the Happy Birthday sentiment which had been stamped using the Sunburst Sayings stamp set and punched using the 3.2cm/1 1/4" circle punch and layered over Dapper Denim card stock which had been punched using the 3.5cm/1 3/8" circle punch.  The scene was then layered onto some Crumb Cake card stock and adhered to a Dapper Denim card base.

The products used on this card have been listed below - just click on the product picture and it will take you to my online store where the product can be purchased. Workshops and papercrafting classes are also available - please contact me for details.  If you're interested in Stampin' Up! products and papercrafting, you may want to consider joining my team.  Click on the Join My Team link at the top of this page for more information or please contact me to discuss the joining benefits.
