Angela's PaperArts: 2022-23 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue retirement list

The Stampin' Up! 2022-23 Annual Catalogue is retiring on 1 May, 2023.  In preparation for the release of the new 2023-24 Annual Catalogue on 2 May, a list of all products being discontinued from the current catalogue can be found at the end of this post.  

The discounted prices, some of which are up to 60% off, are noted in the list and take effect on Tuesday, 4 April at 12.01am.

The Last Chance products also include some long-time favourite colours as Stampin' Up! is going through a colour refresh.  If you have any of these colours, you may want to get in quick to stock up on ink refills and cardstock as they'll be gone for good from 2 May.

The retiring colours are:

• Subtles colour family: So Saffron, Blushing Bridge, Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz
• Brights colour family: Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point

Angela's PaperArts: Legendary ride birthday card

This card features the Stampin' Up! Ready to Ride suite.  

I stamped and diecut the motorcycle first from the Legendary Ride bundle. I then adhered it onto the card mat and Ready to Ride designer series paper. This was then adhered onto the card base which had been embossed using the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder for extra texture. 

To finish the card, I used studs from the Adhesive Backed Studs on the centre of the wheels.

TIP: To create the multi-coloured flame, I first inked up the image in Pumpkin Pie ink and then used a dauber to sponge Merry Merlot ink around the edge before stamping the image.

Angela's PaperArts: Stampin' Up! Legendary dies assembly chart

You may remember this card from last week featuring the Stampin' Up! Ready to Ride suite.  

I've been asked how to hard it is to assemble the motorcycle from the Legendary Ride dies within the suit and thought I'd share a chart I made for my own benefit. 

Tip: for a more realistic motorcycle, I cut the front Merry Merlot coloured mudguard into two pieces to adhere either side of the front fork as mudguards aren't usually on the outside of the fork.

Angela's PaperArts: Ready to Ride Diamond Easel fold card

This diamond easel fold card featuring the Stampin' Up! Ready to Ride suite zoomed its way to a very special person for his birthday.

This is a fun style of card to make and the Legendary Ride dies within the suit layered beautifully together to form the motorcycle.  I also loved the checker plate texture from the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder.

Inside the card has space to write a note to the card's recipient.  

The card also folds flat for posting.

Angela's PaperArts: Favored Flowers pop out card

When I first saw this paper, I'll be honest and say that I thought the large floral patterns were a little too busy for my projects.  However, the smaller patterns on the reverse side of the papers were perfect for my projects. I do love having two sides to paper so I can pick & choose a pattern to suit my style of project.

Angela's PaperArts: Teal Ovarian Cancer card

Did you know that February is the 'teal' Ovarian cancer month with Ovarian cancer being the deadliest of all women's cancers?  Until 9pm today, any donation to Ovarian Cancer Australia (OCA) will be doubled by their sponsors.  OCA provide teal nurses to support women with Ovarian cancer (something which has impacted my family) and they also raise awareness of this cancer within the community.

I've donated today and have made this teal card for a special teal OCA nurse.

Please do what you can to help support this cause as more research & support is desperately needed given the 5 year survival rate for Ovarian cancer is only 49% compared to 92% for breast cancer.
