Angela's PaperArts: Gilded Delicate Bauble card

Today's Z fold Christmas card features the 'Merry & Bright' bauble from the Stampin' Up! Delicate Baubles dies set and I've also used Gilded Leafing to fill in the background of the bauble.

To complete the card, I used the Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper and a border die from the Basic Borders die set to keep with the gold, white & Cherry Cobbler colour scheme.

Angela's PaperArts: Gilded Vine Design card

I've combined two of my favourite products from the January-June 2021 catalogue on this card - the Vine Design stamp set with its co-ordinating Flowering Design dies (which can be bought as a discounted bundle) and the Gold Gilded Leafing also known as gilding flakes.

To adhere the Gold Gilded Leafing onto the stamped vine image, I first stamped the Vine Design image in Versamark ink and added the heat & stick powder.  I melted the heat & stick powder with my Heat Tool and quickly added the Gilded Leafing onto the stamped image and pressed it into place.  The end result is a beautifully gilded stamped image that is lovely and shiny 'in real life'.

Tip: You can use the heat & stick powder method to adhere other embellishments to your project such as glitter, light weight beads etc.

Gilded Vine Design card

I've always loved using Gilded Leafing (aka gilding flakes) on my projects.  The Stampin' Up! Gilded Leafing adds a touch of elegance with its metallic shine. 

For this card which we made during my April 2021 online class, I combined the Gilded Leafing with the gorgeous Flowering Vine dies with the leafing being inlaid between the various open sections of the diecut.

The stamped sentiment is from the co-ordinating Vine Design stamp set.  You can see a close-up of the card here.
