Timeless Tropical birthday card

This birthday card features the retiring Stampin' Up! Timeless Tropical stamp set & co-ordinating dies along with the retiring Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper.  It also features a version of the 'rip & flip' technique.

Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts: SU Timeless Tropical birthday card

I used just one sheet of the patterned paper to create this card by diecutting the centre section and turning it over to show the co-ordinating pattern from the other side - my version of the 'rip & flip' technique. The frame made using the Stitched Rectangle dies hides the join. The Timeless tropical stamp set & co-ordinating dies will still be available throughout 2020, but if you like the paper, it's only available until 2 June, 2020 or while stock lasts from my online store.  All products used on this card are listed below.

Something old & something new - Ornate border gatefold card

This gatefold card features the retiring Stampin' Up! Special Celebrations stamp set and Petal Pink metallic edge ribbon along with the new Ornate Border & Ornate Layers dies.  Whilst I've made a birthday card this time, this style of card can be used for many different occasions including as a wedding card.

Here's a closed view of the card which has a sentiment belly band around the card to keep it closed.

Here's the open view of the card with the sentiment belly band removed.  I've allowed plenty of room to write a message to the card recipient:

Tip: I used the Stampin' Up! Stamparatus to evenly stamp the scroll image into each corner of the inside of the card.  Using the Stamparatus provided perfect placement of the image each time.

If you'd like to learn how to make this card, please message me at angelaspaperarts@outlook.com - various online classes are available for all Australian residents to complete their leisure, including a class on how to make this card.

Darling label punch box - retiring soon

One of the best value retiring products is the Darling Label punch box. In Australia it's currently 60% off its RRP and only available until 2 June or while stock lasts.

I've used this set on many cards over the past couple of years, along with using the gorgeous 8 x 8" tin to store projects in it too. You get everything pictured here and effectively for the price of a punch you get the punch, six piece stamp set, acrylic block, two inkspots and of course the beautiful tin too.

Here's a quick & easy card I made using the punch and one of the sentiments from the Darling Label Punch box set.

Farewell...Layered in Kindness stamp set

This week I'm saying farewell to other favourite products, the Layered in Kindness stamp set and Pigment Sprinkles which won't be available after 2 June 2020 and are only available while stock lasts at this time too.

Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts: SU Layered in Kindness Pigment Sprinkles card

The Pigment Sprinkles were used to randomly colour the background on the card.  I also used the Last a Lifetime stamp set to stamp the floral image on the background layer too. The Layered in Kindness stamped sentiment was punched out using the Label Me Lovely punch.

Here's another card using the Pigment Sprinkles and Last a Lifetime stamp set which you may remember from earlier this year.  The Pigment Sprinkles really do allow you to customise your project. You can use them randomly the way I have on both these projects and you can also use them to carefully paint onto your project too.

Farewell....Heirloom frames & 3D embossing folders set

This week I'm saying farewell to a favourite product - the Stampin' Up! Heirloom Frames die & 3D embossing folder set as it's sadly retiring on 2 June 2020.

Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts: SU Heirloom frames & 3D embossing folder

I've used this set a lot during the year as I loved both its Oval and Rectangle embossed frames.  You can use the embossing folders and dies separately or together too.

This card was made using the Oval frame.

You may recall these two cards which I featured last year which also use this set along with its co-ordinating Woven Heirlooms stamp set (which isn't retiring).

And a rectangle frame version of the same card design.
