Fairy celebration birthday card

I enjoy getting out my markers to colour stamped images and the very cute Stampin' Up! Fairy Celebration stamp set is perfect for colouring with water or alcohol markers.  You could even water colour it too.

I started with a Calypso Coral card stock base and layered it with A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper which co-ordinated perfectly with the Fairy Celebration stamp set.  I stamped the image to be coloured onto Whisper White card stock and coloured the image using now retired Stampin' Up! Blendabilities alcohol markers - although you could water colour, use pencils or Stampin' Write water based markers to colour the image too.  I added some sparkle with Wink of Stella onto the toadstool and fairy's wings, although this unfortunately doesn't show up well in the photo.  I layered the coloured image onto a mat of Pool Party and Calypso Coral card stock.  I stamped the greeting in Calypso Coral and punched it out using the Classic Label punch, layered it onto Pool Party card stock and added a very cute Pool Party enamel heart.  I finished the card by adding a Pool Party Satin Stitched ribbon to the corner of the image.

Welcome baby bear

One of my favourite stamp sets released in the Stampin' Up! 2016-17 Annual Catalogue is Baby Bear. It's a gorgeous triple step stamp set.

I created a square Crumb Cake card base and layered Whisper White and Soft Sky diagonal striped paper from the Subtles Designer Series Pack onto the base.  A smaller crumb cake square became the base for the Elegant Dots embossed framed Baby Bear stamp which had been stamped using the three step stamp set as follows: stamp step 1: Sahara Sand, step 2, Crumb Cake and step 3 Soft Suede ink.  The bear's bow was stamped using Soft Sky ink, fussy cut and added to the bear with a glue dot.  The sentiment is also from the same Baby Bear stamp set.  A White Organza ribbon bow completes the card.

Rose garden card

The Stampin' Up! Rose Garden thinlets make card making so easy.

To create this card, I layered some Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo card stock onto a thick Whisper White card base.  I die cut the rose using the Rose Garden thinlets from another smaller piece of standard Whisper White card stock.  I glued down both the diecut and the offcut piece of Whisper White together onto the card to provide the contrast between the pink and white.  Some 1/8" Silver ribbon, sentiment from Circle of Spring stamp set and a couple of Rhinestones completes the card.  You could easily change the sentiment to turn this card into a birthday or other occasion card. Quick & easy, but so effective.

I made the cute Stampin' Up! Curvy Keepsake boxes above in the new 2016-18 In-Colors of Sweet Sugarplum, Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy and Flirty Flamingo.  I embossed the boxes using the new Floral Affection Textured Impression Embossing Folders before assembling them.  I the die cut the cute little vellum butterfly on top of the box from the Bold Butterflies framelits and added a bow from the matching In-Color Ruched ribbon.  The little white tags were die cut using a die from the Curvy Keepsake set and stamped in the matching ink colour using the 'for you' stamp from the Circle of Spring stamp set. These are quick and easy to make.
