Angela's PaperArts: Stampin Up Treasured Medallions card

Sadly the Stampin' Up! Treasured Medallion stamp set is retiring next week and I've certainly enjoyed creating cards with it.

For this version I coloured the images using my Stampin Blends alcohol markers.

You may remember the black & pink version above that I made earlier this year.  While the stamped design is identical to today's card, using different techniques can give a completely different look to your card.  So don't be afraid to copy one of your previous designs and use a different technique to change its overall look.

Which do you prefer?  The black & pink Joseph's coat technique or white Stampin Blends alcohol marker coloured one?

Whiskey Business card

It was Father's Day recently in Australia and this card featuring the Stampin' Up! Whiskey Business stamp set was made for my son to give to my husband.  It could easily be turned in a birthday card or other occasion card.

I stamped the whisky decanter and glass in Memento Tuxedo Black in and coloured using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I gave it a rustic feel by using a woodgrain designer series paper and linen twine.

Introducing Magenta Madness - Stampin' Up! 2020-2022 In-Color

This card was made using one of the new Stampin' Up! 2020-2022 In-Colors, Magenta Madness.

I used the 'less is more' concept with this colour as it is a very bright & cheery pink.  I simply teamed it with Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock.

The floral border featuring the Magenta Madness colour is from the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More cards.  The sentiment mat is from the Perfect Parcel dies set.  I embossed the Basic Black cardstock using the Lace 3D Embossing folder for some extra texture.  The Basic Jewel rhinestones were coloured using the Stampin Blends alcohol markers.
