Angela's PaperArts: Column 90th birthday card

One of my family members was celebrating a very special birthday - his 90th birthday.  As the colour scheme for his celebratory birthday event was black, white & gold, I decided to make his birthday card to reflect these colours too.

Here's the front of the card.

It's a dimensional side column card and features the Stampin' Up! Modern Christmas specialty patterned papers - perfect for any occasion, not just Christmas. The "90" is from the Stampin' Up! Alphabet A La Mode die set.

Here's an overhead view of the card. My message to the recipient was written on the back of the card. The card can be folded flat for posting too.

Angela's PaperArts: Floating hexagon pop out birthday card

This floating hexagon pop out birthday card was created for a close family member's birthday a little while ago. 

This card features the Stampin' Up! Country Woods Designer Series Paper which was perfect for the beach/sailing theme of this card. This paper is also eligible for the Stampin' Up! Suite Sale end on 30 June, 2025 where you buy one and get another 50% off.

I was inspired to create my card by Paul Ford's YouTube tutorial. You can see it here. His card and instructions were for a landscape version in imperial measurements. I adapted the concept by creating my own template with metric measurements to suit my portrait card version.

Angela's PaperArts: Take to the Sky Floating Panel Father's Day card

It's Father's Day today here in Australia and I made this card for my Dad.

It's a Floating Panel card aka Pop-up Panel card and also acts like an easel card due to the way it's propped open on the side.

The card features the Stampin' Up! Take to the Sky designer series paper and Spotlight on Nature circle dies. I did use a retired stamp set for the plane on my card, but the current Adventurous Sky stamp & die bundle is similar and was made to co-ordinate with the Take To The Sky paper too.

Here's an overhead view of the card where you can see how the focal embellishment 'floats' above the card base.

It does fold flat for posting too.
