This is the fourth of five posts, one for each colour giving you a sneak peek of the new colours and some of the new stamp sets being released with the new annual catalogue on 1 June 2016.  If you are interested in Stampin' Up! products and are located in Australia, please contact me as I'd be happy to assist you.

I was fortunate to be selected by Stampin' Up! to make card samples using the brand new Stampin' Up! 2016-18 In-Colors for the demonstrator only #OnStage2016 event held in Sydney on 16 April.

Colour #4: Emerald Envy

Emerald Envy is a beautiful rich green which works well with other Stampin' Up! colours such as Elegant Eggplant, Delightful Dijon and Pacific Point plus Gold Foil or Glimmer paper.

This card features Emerald Envy 2016-18 In-Color DSP and card stock along with the new Sitting Here stamp which was used for the sentiment.  I've also used the current Botanical Builders framelits to create the flower and ferns which were layered onto Lots of Labels die cuts.  The card base was embossed with the Elegant Dots TIEF and a sprinkling of gold trim sequins gives a hint of sparkle to the card. The top corners were created using the Curvy Corner Trio punch.

This simple masculine card features Emerald Envy 2016-18 In-Color DSP, classic ink and card stock. The card base was embossed using the Boho Chic TIEF and the rosette which had been stamped using the Sunburst Sayings dotted border was layered on top along with the flag sentiment stamped from Crazy About You.

This card features Emerald Envy 30.5cmx30.5cm 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack and card stock along with the new Gift of Love hostess stamp set.  I heat embossed the flower in gold and highlighted the leaves with gold Wink of Stella.  Some 1/8" Gold ribbon, Gold foil paper and Gold sequins provide some sparkle to this card.

This card features the Emerald Envy 30.5cmx30.5cm 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack and classic ink along with the new Love You Lots and Layering Love stamp sets.  I watercoloured then fussy cut the frog from the Love You Lots stamp set and layered him onto a Delightful Dijoncard stock oval and Botanical builders framelit leaf. The sentiment from the Layering Love stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the Emerald Envy splatters come from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

I hope you've enjoyed this sneak peek of some new stamp sets and the Emerald Envy 2016-18 In-Color.  Please check back later to see the last colour.

Ready to Pop - Baby Shower Treats

I made these cheeky baby shower  treat boxes and filled them with popcorn for guests.

I first die cut the boxes using the Stampin' Up! Fry Box.  I then used the All About Sugar stamp set, Little Letters thinlets, floral punch from the Itty Bitty Accents punch set and Washi Label punch to decorate the boxes.  I filled the boxes with popcorn which I had put in our food safe cellophane bags.  Some co-ordinating Dotted Lace Trim in Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon was tied around the cello bags.  You can easily change the decorations to suit any occasion.

The key products used on these boxes have been listed below - just click on the picture and it will take you to my online store where the product can be purchased.  Papercrafting classes are available.

Sneak Peak #3: Stampin' Up! 2016-18 In-Color Dapper Denim

This is the third of five posts, one for each of the new Stampin' Up! 2016-18 In-Colors being released in the new Stampin' Up! annual catalogue on 1 June 2016.  This sneak peek lets you view the new colours and some of the new stamp sets being released with the new annual catalogue.  If you are interested in Stampin' Up! products and are located in Australia, please contact me as I'd be happy to assist you.

I was selected by Stampin' Up! to make 20 card samples in total using the new colours for the demonstrator only OnStage event held in Sydney on 16 April and my brief was to highlight the new colour.  Below are the four Dapper Denim coloured cards that I created for #OnStage2016.

Colour #3 Dapper Denim

Dapper Denim is a versatile colour which works well with many of the other Stampin' Up! colours such as Calypso Coral, Marina Mist and Smoky Slate.

This card features Dapper Denim card stock, 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack and classic ink along with the Party Popup thinlets. I used the inlaid diecut technique for the 'Hip Hip Hooray' focal piece.  This required diecutting the Hip Hip Hooray thinlet twice, once in Dapper Denim and again in Calypso Coral.  I adhered the Dapper Denim diecut onto the card base then inlaid the words and confetti using the Calypso Coral pieces into the diecut. I stamped the balloons from the Balloon Celebration stamp set and punched them out using the Balloon Bouquet punch and adhered them to the card.  Some strands of thick Calypso Coral twine were added to the balloons too.

This card features Dapper Denim card stock, 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack and classic ink along with the Love You Lots, Layering Love and You've Got This stamp sets. I used the You've Got This background stamp which was inked in Soft Sky and some Dapper Denim sponged around the edges of the stamp to create the background for the hedgehogs. I watercoloured the hedgehogs in Smoky Slate and Peekaboo Peach. The sentiment from the Layering Love stamp set was also stamped using Dapper Denim ink and layered onto White bakers twine and a small rectangle of Peekaboo Peach cardstock.

This card features Dapper Denim card stock, 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack and classic ink along with the Sitting Here, Perpetual Birthday Calendar and Flurry of Wishes stamp sets. I stamped the swing in Archival Basic Gray, then stamped, watercoloured and fussy cut the cushions, cat and bird too. Snowflakes from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set were randomly stamped to create a background for this card.  The large snowflakes were punched using the Snow flurry punch and layered over the DSP and sentiment. Some Wink of Stella and Rhinestones on the snowflakes add some sparkle to the card.

This card is for a special man in my life and features Dapper Denim card stock, 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack and classic ink along with the Guys Greetings and Crazy About You stamp sets.  I stamped the anchors on the vertical banner in Smoky Slate.  I then layered circles over the banner and interlocked the horizontal banner into the circle.  Some linen thread wrapped around both banners and the top of the anchor gives the card a rustic touch.  I've long admired Becca Feekan's cards and she has over the years created some cards using interlocking circles and this is what inspired me to adapt that concept and create the interlocking circle and banner.  You could adapt this card's design to any occasion.

I hope you've enjoyed this sneak peek of some new stamp sets and the Dapper Denim 2016-18 In-Color. Check back later for more new In-colour sneak peeks.
