Hello floral statements

For anyone who likes colouring, the Stampin' Up! Floral Statements stamp set is a must have set.

To create this card I started with a Stampin' Up! Basic Black card base.  I then layered on top a piece of Basic Black card stock which had been embossed with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The Floral Statements 'Hello' was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Crumb Cake card stock then watercoloured using the Watercolour pencils. It was diecut using the Lots of Labels framelits. To complete the card I added a heart from the Hearts & Stars Elements, an Old Olive Sheer Ribbon bow and some Gold Mini Sequins.

I also created a pink version of this card.

To create this version I started with a Stampin' Up! Basic Black card base.  I then layered some Color Theory designer series paper and another piece of Basic Black card stock on top.  The Floral Statements 'Hello' was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White card stock then watercoloured using the Watercolour pencils. To complete the card I added a Pearl hat pin from my craft stash and an Old Olive Sheer Ribbon bow.

Moon baby card with a sneak peak

I'm going to a baby shower soon and couldn't resist using the Stampin' Up! Moon Baby stamp set to create this card.  It also has a sneak peek of the new Card Front Builder Thinlits dies which will be available from 1 August.

Stampin' Up! Moon Baby stamp set card by Angela Lovel, Angela's PaperArts

To create this card I started with a Stampin' Up! Daffodil Delight card base.  I then took a piece of Whisper White card stock and diecut the stars/moon along the top using a die from the new Card Front Builder Thinlits die set.  These dies will be available from 1 August 2017 and can be bundled to get a 10% discount when purchasing the Carols of Christmas stamp set.  Whilst these dies are bundled with a Christmas stamp set they are versatile and don't have to be used on just Christmas cards.

I then stamped the stars and baby onto the Whisper White cardstock and layered a piece of Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper at an angle along the bottom of the card stock before adhering it to the card base.  A piece of 1/8" sheer Whisper White ribbon was adhered along the diagonal edge too. I also used some of the Birthday Memories DSP to create the baby's jumpsuit and Silver Glimmer paper formed the umbrella to which I added a small Rhinestone coloured with an alcohol marker.  The sentiment is also from the Moon Baby stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and diecut using one of the smaller Layering Ovals dies.  A co-ordinating scallop Layering Ovals die was used to diecut some Daffodil Delight card stock to go under the sentiment.  A couple of Silver Glimmer stars were diecut using the small star from the Santa's Sleigh thinlits set.

Here are my Card Front Builder Thinlits dies and Carols of Christmas stamp set and you'll see the top die was the one used to create this card.  These products sold individually or as a bundle will be available to purchase from my online store from 1 August 2017.  I'll have more card samples available soon using this bundle - so please check back later.

Want to meet new crafty friends?

Do you like crafting and want to meet new crafty friends? Then now is the perfect time to join my Stampin' Up! team as you get $356 of products when you join for only $169 up until 31 July, 2017 plus you get to meet new crafty friends too.

As an example of crafting with friends, each month demonstrator friends get together at a team night and craft together.  I made these cards at our team night last night - lots of fun and inspiration as we were playing with a One Sheet Wonder theme. If you're not familiar with the One Sheet Wonder technique, you take a piece of 12x12"/30.5x30.5cm Designer Series Paper and cut it up in different sized pieces to make cards.  Click here to see what I used as a base and tweaked it to suit.  I was able to make 11 cards from the one sheet of paper.  The Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper I used on these cards has unfortunately retired, but it was so popular that Stampin' Up! has brought it back in five different colours with a limited number of patterns - the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper stack.  All other products used are current, please click on the picture of the product at the end of this post to see more details.

If you live in Australia, why not contact me today to learn more about the benefits of joining Stampin' Up!, especially while there's extra free product on offer up until 31 July.  You don't have to run a business and can join to enjoy a discount on your hobby supplies.
