Brightly gleaming shaker card

Following on from last week's Birthday Sip Sip Hooray shaker card, I've also made a Christmas shaker card too.

This card features the Brightly Gleaming suite along with the Stitched Stars dies.

I used some retired sequins along with Ice Stampin' Glitter to fill the shaker part of the ornament. To create the 3D smaller ornament, I punched out 3 of the gleaming ornaments, folded them in half and glued them back to back to create the dimension - you can see an example of this type of technique on page 49 of the Holiday Catalogue (3D apple).  It's such an easy technique and so effective. A copper foil stars banner from the Stitched Stars die set completes the card.

Here's a close-up of the shaker & 3D ornaments.

This card features the Stampin' Up! Sip Sip Hooray stamp set and co-ordinating dies.  I used the Woven Threads sequins to fill the cocktail glass to add a little fun and further sparkle.

Golden stars card

If you like sparkle on your cards, then this card may appeal to you.

I used the So Many Stars stamp set and co-ordinating dies bundle by Stampin' Up! to create this card - plus lots of gold gimmer paper too.  The stamped stars also 'shine' as they were stamped using the Delicata Golden Glitz ink.

If you like a little sparkle on your card, then you may like this Christmas card.

I used Stampin' Up! Shimmery White embossing paste and the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks to create the sparkly background on this card.  The ornament was stamped and punched out using the Christmas Gleaming bundle.

Here's a close-up of the sparkle on this card.
